Man it must have sucked to go to a show and know you would dislike up to 50% of it before you even got there.... were you just waiting for the buzzkill after drums?

There were definitely songs I did not like, but I don't think I would have gone if I disliked that many of the standards that were played so often.

I need a Miracle - closing of winterland with Kelly on Harmonica, is killer with a great out jam.
Also, I CANNOT BELIEVE you put Greatest Story Ever Told on this list.
Stanley Theatre 72 is a monster - Many Others as well - also the lyrics are very cool. One thing we need is a left handed monkey wrench... indeed....

For the record the greatest buzzkill was always Truckin-Black Peter-Around & Around-Good Lovin to end the set. Followed of course by either Day Job or Don't ease me In as the encore.... Had me in the parking lot before the second verse!!

Cap't,

Got bored with TOO>wharf>TS>NFA. saw that combo way too many times in the late 80's

Knockin had me going to the car faster than anything. It was great when Hornsby was in the band because when he picked up the squeezebox he tipped the hand that it was a pretty good shot that they were going to play that tune.

That QUICKLY changed when I heard the first I fought the law encore. Unacceptable for this band to call that an encore. Unfortunatley the song is only 2 mins long so there really was no time to get a jump on traffic.

Remember- I have excluded the seventies and sixties from my dislike of these tunes- it was what Bobby did in the mide eighties onward and the times he chose to do them

Bobby laid some eggs on stage. Walkin Blues, Corrina and Easy Answers did nothing for me. I would have stopped going to shows, if I got sick of the Playing jams, Let it Grow, Estimated Prophet ans sveral more songs...
